Once again, I am left with the remnants of the mess that my manager created by not keeping a close eye on our operations team. Now, a shipment is missing, and guess who is dealing with all the emails and phone calls?

I sympathize with you! I also do the same thing every time my team makes a mistake, I have to clean up their messes and make sure everything is done the right way. But guess who is not permitted to make mistakes?

As operations manager, my main concern is that each person is in charge of doing their job well and if someone makes a mistake, that person will be in charge of fixing any inconvenience caused by their mistake.

How strange that a manager leaves the heavy work to a subordinate, right? Soon I know you will have the opportunity to be a manager and do better.

How unethical does a person have when they do that, stop facing a problem so that someone else does, that same type of person is the one who steals your achievements, right?

What a pity friend, but some say that it is a way to be better in the future, you have already gone through your position, and when it is your turn to go through the position of your manager you will do magnificently.

It's a shame they have a bad operations team but it's even worse to work cleaning up messes alone, it's really unfortunate, I hope you can solve the situation but the worst thing you must be experiencing is explaining to customers about the product that I did not arrive

That is a bad manager because a committed manager does not do that, that is to say, a manager committed to the company and to you as its worker works hand in hand with you to achieve a quick solution to the problem.

Surely you are the person who is in charge of solving all your boss's problems, you have an abusive manager and you can report this type of situation because it goes beyond your responsibilities.

Hi Fishes,

Need some suggestions from everyone. I have 4.5 years experience and I was working as contractor in ZS and my CTC in parent company was 7 Lakhs.

ZS were willing to offer me FTE as ZS but at a compensation of meagre 8.5 Lakhs. I tried negotiating but they sticked with this.

How come ZS do that? Why can't they pay more as they generally pay 15+ for 4.5 years experience.

Hi, I applied for a BFSI domain consultant position at TCS through Linkedin. Next day two people took my interview and said they are good to go with my profile. I might have one more tech round and HR will contact. After 4-5 days HR sent Ibegin link to create my profile and update details. Then it's been 3 weeks no other update. Whenever I contact the person who took my interview he keep saying its in process please wait. Is it normal procedure in TCS? How long usually takes.
