I have a weird question
I have given interviews in JPMorgan Chase for developer role and got the offer which is gud but interviews were not as tough as one might have expected from a reputed firm like jpmc.
Had 1 tech,1 tech-Manager round , Hire view test which was quite easy and an hr round.
Am a little worried about the standard of project and the team. I have offer from CIB Payments team. Checked with hiring manager and he said d role is for developer. Just worried abt quality of work

That’s a dangerous thing to try to convince yourself of, comrade.
If they could, they would replace all of us with robots.
Yeah I try to keep very aware of that, I know we’re all as expendable as each other.
I did a short course and the instructor mentioned that you would necessarily lose out on a job to Ai rather you could lose out on a job via someone who can utilise Ai. So I guess its better to use it in your work. I.e. for me it would be research based mainly.
I think it’s been around for ages but people are only recently getting worried about it. Things like automation and workflow programs can be classed as AI by streamlining work. I stand by that, if you use it as a tool to help your work it’s okay and always will be. Once you use to replace workers then it’s extremely problematic and sets a bad precedent.
Yeah the ideas of streamlining work are exciting, taking a lot more pressure off workers. It is worrying that it could potentially be a slippery slope.
The film making game is changing as I write this and your are right to feel shaky. I have several friends who are creating the very tools that will replace 80% of post teams now.
That’s terrifying! I wonder if people making these programs realise it’ll replace them at some point too.
