As with any diet - Maintenance requires intentional effort and meal planning focused on nutrient dense foods. Even if you feel hungrier, you should be equipped with knowledge of nutrition and good habits. You can plan ahead how to add extra calories that have fiber, protein etc.
Look on the subreddit groups, so much good info. Also a lot of nutritionists on IG who give meal plans for glp 1 maintenance.
Weight loss is easy, maintenance is where the effort comes in and really pays off!
Consider your apetite as the same before you start these.
I have recently gone off due to surgery. (It has been c8 weeks) and I am not weighing myself because I know I have some fluid retention, and I know I gained some weight. Main reason was not being able to move tbh…
When I am eating meals with good volume (veggies, high protein etc) it is ok. BUT if you think that you can live like you are on it, it will fail. A small bowl with protein drink will not fill you up and you will end up with eating whatever you find…
It is important to remember Glp1 was making you full and now you need to plan your meals, introduce high volume low calorie and satiating stuff (ie lean protein and lots of veggies)
A lot of people say the biggest challenge after stopping isn’t just the medication itself, it’s managing the return of appetite and “food noise.” The ones who seem to maintain their results best usually already built strong habits before tapering off, like you mentioned.

I have issues with food and have been taking these meds for ~4 years now. If I have to skip a week for any reason (traveling, etc). I notice my appetite back and definitely over eat. With that being said I do have emotional eating habits that I fall back onto that I’m still trying to work through and get control over. If you don’t think you can manage that, consider microdosing longer term rather than stopping altogether and see if that still keeps you on your right path!
Everyone I know (including myself) gained everything back within months of going off it.
Some had to get back on it and stay with it for good, but you need to keep upping the dose otherwise it loses its efficacy.
10% body weight. It was all back within 4 months. But also, I was never that heavy to begin with and always had a healthy-ish diet so was just using the GLP1 for fine tuning.
It works better for people who are making drastic changes and can then stick with those habits.
