I block off 90 minutes on my calendar and go as a break mid day. I find that I very rarely skip the gym when it’s on my calendar and in middle of work day vs. losing sleep in the morning or going after a long day.

Good point! I try ro treat workouts as the most important part of my day, haha
I developed horrible self image issues and feel physically sick and disgusted if I don’t follow my routine. Unintentional, but it worked.

This is super effective haha Ultimately, real actions matter over self-image, you are getting more active and stronger, so that's a win!
I like to workout right before bed. Because then I'm truly exhausted, I can take a nice hot shower to get clean, and then climb into bed for a GOOD sleep.

Same! On week days I workout late in the evening. I really enjoy how positive I feel after workout and how it takes away stress from the day.
I track every single lift. When you can see the progress you've made over a few months, it becomes a lot harder to quit on yourself.
Same. Also make notes to go heavy or lighter with weights. Documenting keeps me motivated and helps me progress.
After a few weeks, I naturally stopped dreading the gym and actually feel noticiably worse (mood wise) if I don't go to the gym, excluding my two off days.
Also I used AI to create a program based on my needs, capabilities, and goals. & if I really hate to do a specific exercise, I swap it for another that targets the same muscle(s). You should do exercises based on what you like to do at the beginning. Then once you get in a groove, you can try going outside of your comfort zone and challenge yourself with new exercises.
It feels good to be strong, and my gym routine helps me feel good overall. It's not a matter of motivation for me, it's what helps keeps me going. Looking good is just the cherry on top.

Spot on about not feeling well when you don't go to the gym. I always feel worse when skipping workouts. Never have regretted workouts too :)
I use AI too, not for programme more for performance feedback/ assessment.
I started thinking I need to rely less on it and think for myself more, research etc haha
I do peloton strength app! Then i dont feel alone haha
