Anyone work at GE or GE healthcare?
Hey Folks. I hope I am posting in the right space about this. Anyone knows the updated(2022) compensation range for QA Automation Engineers with 2 years experience?
A general range at Glassdoor has an average base pay at 110K/year shorturl.at/dhuIZ and I am looking for more sources. Cheers

Yeah, I would say it's pretty counterproductive. Unless a contribution towards your parent's rent is much less than what you were already paying as rent. I'm sure they would really appreciate it and it may even ease out your stay there. Don't know about you but I have real judgemental parents. But if you're doing it purely out of obligation and still hurting your progress, don't bring it up. Do what you need to do!
It depends on your parents personalities. I’ve had my parents and siblings living outside the home throw my lack of paying rent in my face a few times. My work pays for my WiFi but my parents pay for that for the house that in a cable tv bundle. I consider that a sunk cost they’d pay for anyway, but when they found out they made me turn the WiFi money over to them. That’s just one example of financial creep that’s happened since I’ve lived here that’s setback my goals. If you think stuff like that’s going to be an issue, bring it up and maybe even get a signed agreement ahead of time.
Kind of hard to answer, we all probably have wildly different family relationships. All that aside though, maybe sitting down and having a conversation beforehand will be best. Kind of get each other's sides of expectations, that way they know where you are at and you aren’t having concerns over certain things because you didn’t bring it up.
