Hello I got a confirmation from HR at Shell that I have been selected for a role and there will be background checks before joining the company. He said the mail will come from a 3rd party vendor for the background verification. It has been 1 week and there has been no mails till now. Is it normal? Should I follow up with the HR again?

Base too low, ain for 140K to 150K.
That's all the "partners" can offer. What would be the best way to negotiate with the recruiter?
Don’t take the role - you’re not being paid enough with yourself background. Aim for $160k base.
Not directly related to your question, but applies to you and others.. But how often do hiring managers and Recruiting use this bowl.
With all the information provided it would be pretty easy for them to identify you and gain leverage in negotiation.
Your current salary shouldnt matter for the offer itself, but does for you personally.
Other thoughts - The hiring manager shouldn't be trying to squeeze you but pay you open market rates and internal range of rates. Bc they want you happy and not leaving. Im not sure what HR/recruiting cares about besides juat getting you hired.
FSO isn’t the highest paying group

What groups pay higher besides EYP

Is that raise even worth the COL change
This is a low offer imo, wouldnt take this in this market.
Is this Fso risk? Seems like it based on the numbers
Nope this is not FSO risk, I guess could be NGTO or Tech Strategy
Low offer I think too
Yeah hella low. They should at least triple the bonus they're offering you.
