Plumber recs? The one I'd been using literally caused ~5 gallons of water to gush out of my ceiling and create a hole this morning. And then basically Tommy Boy'd me with, "What'd you do?"

Gary Block with Plumbco is fast and good but expensive. We have found them to be very responsive and we are happy with their work. 713 - 432- 0033

Who did the work? Wanna make sure I stay away

Brad’s Plumbing has done great work for me

Oh my goodness! We have a hs domain for small jobs, but have used John Moore and Roto Router with good (more expensive) results. They have both been consistent and come back if the issue isn’t resolved.

What is a reasonable pay increase + bonus? This will be my first pay increase. I make 70k and I will be starting my second year at big law (immigration). I had 2 years of prior experience before joining the firm. My manager rated me highest in all areas and mentioned she recommended me for promotion but it may not happen until next cycle since there are limited number of promotions to give. I will get a pay increase regardless so I want to negotiate in case I don’t get a “good” increase.

Mental Health, inherited or choice? I am finding myself struggling with processing that ADD, Depression, or Bipolar is a chemical imbalance in the brain vs. behavioral therapy. Has anyone here noticed a significant improvement after a prescription to help psych issues?

My firm typically does insurance defense, but we take plaintiffs cases here and there. Is it typical that work done by associates on contingency cases isn’t counted toward their billable hour requirements unless and until we receive our fee on the case? This is my first experience with this, but it’s hard for me to reach my hours as is, without spending time on non billable cases like this with no assurance that I’ll see billable credit at the end.
