Any ex-DaVita or anyone who had DaVita offers? DaVita is the global market leader (only 2 big players though) offering a base+bonus of $260k for Dir of BD over 4 states. I have a top-10 MBA+5years...
Currently working at EY India. Joined this quarter after MBA. Please give some tips as to how to shift to other Big4 or any other companies with a better work life balance .
What is the salary range for non-tech level 3 employee? My CTC is 7.5 with 3yrs pre-mba exp and 9months post-mba exp.. how much should I expect?
What are some post-MBA jobs that offer a good pay and decent wlb? I’ve heard Corporate Strategy and LDPs. I got accepted into Yale SOM FT for reference.
Early 30s, have an MPH and am thinking about getting an MBA; however i need to work part time and am considering online given the current crisis, but not sure if it’s worth the investment, especially since MBA programs involve networking. Does it really make an impact on your earning potential?
How foolish is it for me to get an MBA in Europe if I see myself back on the east coast of the US 2-3 years after graduating? The plan would be to lateral back at a MBB. Is that easy to do or am I being naive?
Currently pursuing a MBA, and am deciding which focus areas to take. I am trying to pivot from UX design to product in tech. Ideal sector: FinTech Current sector: Mobile Gaming Related sectors: Entertainment, Edutainment, e-Commerce, Social Aiming at head of product or head of design as long term goal. If only 2 focuses, would you pick Business Analytics, Digital Marketing, Entrepreneurship and Strategic Innovation, or Global Challenges in Business? Advice appreciated!
Best MBA programs for Product Management?
A colleague said to me yesterday that he didn’t get an MBA interview at Harvard last round because they’d “rather take the unqualified blacks” as if he didn’t pay thousands of dollars for an admissions consultant himself and still get rejected (lol). Not sure if it’s worth doing anything about - feel like these people shouldn’t promote to positions of power
I really don't have time to take my CPA exam coming up. Going to lose one in the next couple of months. Client work is extremely demanding and yes I've talked to manager but the work is still there.
What carries more weight if you’re looking to break into leadership: MS from Columbia, or MBA from USC?
Thoughts on the iMBA at Illinois? Worth the 22k? I’m on track to Senior Manager and can’t justify two years off to pursue a top MBA, or spend over $100k for a top part-time MBA. Especially with a kid.
Assuming there’s people pursuing their mba currently here, does anyone use a MacBook Air? Thinking about gettin the 2020 model for my mba. Been windows my whole life but wanna change it up
Hi - 1 year out of undergrad and interested in doing MBA to move from consulting to IB. I don’t really know much about the app process. What are some sites/resources useful understanding the process (who /when to ask for letter of recs, what programs look for, how applicants are evaluated etc)? I want to make sure i’m doing the right stuff / setting myself up now for when i apply in 3-4 years. Thanks!

Life is interesting. Had a messed up childhood, <2.0 GPA in high school, dropped out of community college, finagled my way into IT consulting starting at $50k, worked up to $120k, completed my bachelors online last year, just started a Sr. Cons in Strategy role for $160k.
How to compensate for long term unemployment? After getting let go from McK earlier this year, I've been unemployed for close to 6 months and explaining it to prospective employers is awkward and uncomfortable. Any advice on how to navigate this?
Most embarrassing WFH moment?
Has “being patient” with your career ever helped? Keep getting told this by senior leadership but I’m unclear about whether it’s actually good advice or just bs they’re telling me because they don’t want to help me advance in my career.
After 3 years in consulting, this really resonates and is why I’m leaving this industry. We get too focused on the most minuscule details, on what competitors are doing, on what a market’s CAGR is. So many of my clients just didn’t have a good product that customers loved. https://youtu.be/Y6P8qdanszw
Is 27 too old for senior consultant? I look around and most are manager by 28. This is a serious post. I’m happy with the promotion but looking around seems like most are younger.
Pwc fishes, care to comment?
Isn't it hypocritical that there's so much talk of social justice and equity this year, but when it comes to the covid vaccines, we jump straight to the front of the line compared to other countries. 🙄
What time do you expect your staff to be in the office in the morning? These 2 keep coming in 910 and 930 when we agreed on 9 (which is generous).
Not sure how consulting firms expect to retain talent out of undergrad if they barely raise pay. Left consulting after 1 year, end of 2nd year and I’m at 180k comp now with friends at D and PWC barely hitting 85. I know seniors at D not even making 100k
I am a little disappointed. I had a surgery yesterday. Today, my boss calls me and she doesn’t even ask about my well being or how the surgery went. It was all about work......
Who else actually only works 10-15 hours a week? Be honest. I’m a highly levered manager and outsource everything. Bless up.
Was not given a promotion this year because I had my first child; responsibility adjustment period. But found out the guy on the team got promoted, he had his second child. #sexism #fuckit
My senior manager told me that I work for him and I have to do whatever he says, I told him "no, I do not work for you and I work for Deloitte, and I am willing to collaborate with you to do what I can to make the project most successful". He told me that I am going to have severe consequences for what I said.
