I think it’s a good idea. Mostly because busy recruiters or creative leaders evaluate portfolios so quickly - looking at your thumbnails and maybe 1-2 projects if you’re lucky. Having the awards logos on thumbnails helps communicate quickly that somebody thought this was good, even if they don’t click into the project.
Why not?
Seems fine, show em if you got em, whatever helps you get a job
I show 1-2 best know/ most awarded logos like D&AD only, feel like if there’s way too many logos it’s also weird
Pro
Yeah, agreed. Just the big ones.
Better not if they’re the type of awarded pieces that are questionable.
Pro
?
Logos are especially good when you get a merit. People might think you won an actual award.
Mind if I share an unpopular opinion?
Pro
Do that shit
Nah. Just spend that time hanging with your loved ones instead. You won’t regret it.

I have them listed on the project page but not on the thumbnail. I think it's kinda cringe to be that in your face about it, but at the same time some recruiters need that level of handholding... so I get why people do it.
Pro
That’s exactly how I feel about it, and why I’m debating doing it anyway. Sucks. Be had recruiter be like “what awards have you won” when it’s on both the project pages and my bio page. Fml.
