Post MBA - how possible is transitioning from IB to consulting? I’m currently in TMT at an EB and am looking to transition into consulting after completing 2 years in IB. I’d also be looking to relocate from NYC to the west coast, preferably LA (worked out there pre-MBA). I’m aware I’d likely go back to the same level as a fresh MBA grad and am fine with that. Have people seen this type of move done? Is MBB reachable? Would I apply in the fall for a next summer start? Any other tips?

Hypothetically what’s the shortest amount of time you should stay in a job without switching. I kinda wanna try my hand at a different industry but don’t wanna kill the experience I have now by leaving too early

FDD 🐠 I will be promoted to audit SM in October, however looking to transfer to the FDD practice.
