Potentially relocating to Austin or Atlanta. Anyone have experience potentially living in both cities and can compare?

Depends on what you're looking for. I'm partial to Atlanta for the diversity/city feel. If you want outdoor activities and affordability, try Austin

like

Atlanta is waaaay more affordable than Austin.

like

Exactly. Not the city of Atlanta. Maybe the burbs. Be prepared to live in traffic if you live there.

like

No way Atlanta is cheaper than Austin sorry.

Atlanta is great, but as a native Texan, I was a bit out of my element when I initially moved there (e.g., politics, demographics, etc.). I would definitely recommend visiting Atlanta first before deciding.

Atlanta is awesome. I moved here 6 years ago and love it. It’s a big city so there’s always something to do. There’s a bunch of music venues so there’s usually a good show to see, a ton of good restaurants and bars, and it’s close to the mountains so if you’re outdoorsy at all it’s good for hiking and camping.

Austin is shit

Hello all! I am looking for a job in finance/investments, but I’m having trouble attracting attention from employers. I have a finance degree from UGA, but all of my experience (3.5 years) is in sales (tech and real estate), so no relevant internships unfortunately. Any advice on how to market myself better and where I should be looking would be greatly appreciated!

I have a promising interview at a relatively large law firm in my area (+100 attorneys) next week. The position is for a transactional role in their real estate practice group, and they are seeking someone with at least 2 YOE. I have a bit over 7 YOE with a strong real estate/commercial lit. background. Over the past two years in my current position, I've been doing a lot more transactional work. The split is around 50% transactional and 50% lit.

I am visiting Moab and Arches National Park this year, and would love to learn more about biking in/around the park!

Are you able to ride the bikes on the roads throughout the park?
If so, are there places to lock up the bike at trailheads and/or parking lots to take in?
I haven't been to this national park yet, so I was curious how it compares to Zion for example, where it is easy to bike from "stop to stop" to view the scenery or do a hike!

Thank you!

Home office preference question. I am getting ready to redo the layout of my home office. One option I'm considering would have my desk facing a wall. I am wondering if anyone with this current setup has any feedback about it. I would face the wall so that I would have a better background for video conferences (am on about half the day) and also my cord situation would be cleaner.

But I still have questions though 🤔 -
