Probably not a good place to post, but any dental hygienists change careers? I love my job but I don’t see myself doing it forever. I want change and I want growth. Plus I’m starting to hurt already haha

Its good to know I am not the only one. I have been searching like crazy other options for hygienists. I have been practicing for 1 year only and I feel miserable most of the time. So far I haven't find the correct path for me but looking actively.

I have felt the same way. So what I did is I work 2 days permanently at one office I love. The other days are my flex days and I’m either off or temping.

Hi there, I have worked in the dental field for 10 plus years and some hygienist colleagues of mine have found enjoyable to become teachers/instructors at some Dental Hygiene Schools/Programs in the area with a Bachelor’s degree.
Others, turned to be Regional Sales Representatives for Sirona, Patterson or Henry Schein company.
Hope this helps! Good luck on your future decision!

Are there any tax professionals in the Lancaster, PA area that are looking to leave public? Hi guys,

I switched 20 days back to Optum. I have 7 years of experience working as a full stack Engineer, who is passionate working on both front end and back end on latest technologies. But my project is working only on back end with 10 years old tech stack. There is no front end work at all. What should I do?
I don't like working here at all, but I am not sure whether moving out again in a month will give bad Impression on my resume. Hence please give me advice on this situation

I am currently working for a city and have been with my current position for about a year. Work-life balance and colleagues are great. I came from private practice prior to my current position. I've been a dental assistant for 11 years , and I think I'm done . I feel the pay is never enough and 9/10 we do the most work in the office . It's never commensurate to what we do and no matter how much experience you have your still 3-5$ more than someone fresh out of school . It's a skill I'm glad to know that I can always find work but the burnout for nothing isn't worth it. Can anyone relate

Hello everyone I have 29 years as a dental professional in Texas. I started as a dental assistant back in 1993. As my career progressed as a RDA, I moved to the front office and eventually management. I even taught dental assistants and became the Program Director of a DA program. COVID opened up remote work for me, I manage eclaims, claims corrections and billing for two offices. $20 per hour, no bonuses or incentives, I know I am not getting paid enough! Any input would be appreciated.

I want to go back to work in the dental field. I was an assistant for 10+ years. I miss helping people smile. But trying to find work that I can do within school hours is so hard! I’m located outside of Chicago if that helps.
