I have a possible opportunity at Protiviti. Coming from big4 and wondering if Protiviti has fairly similar perks. I’ve read the 2022 benefits guide and it gave a oddly low PTO count of 16 days. Is this true and what about a holiday disconnect in the December time period? Are there any other hidden perks that are awesome? Already heard WLB is better and the culture, but I feel like I’ve gotta find that out first hand. Protiviti

Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Top companies for brand manager exits
Hey, I have 4 YOE and currently a manager at PwC and have been managing teams for a little over a year now. My role mainly consists of leading teams of engineers deliver MVPs to our clients.
If I wanted to exit to Google or Facebook (Meta) what role would align for me? I was looking at engineering manager roles but unsure if that’s too senior for me.

Depends what practice you’re in but if it is squarely in the MC space: ACN > PWC > many many other shops > Slalom
None lol. Accenture and Slalom are IT sweat shops, PwC does some strategy work but their real management consultants are all in strategy&
KPMG keeps inserting themselves into every conversation who asked you. Also KPMG1 that was very funny ngl
Slalom isn't management consulting - there are strategy teams, but most of the strategy is around system implementation and digital transformation. Culture and opportunities vary widely by office/market/region. ACN is an 800k person monster - be really sure what team you're joining there before you start.
It is or is becoming that. I know a few management consulting managers who left Accenture due to the lack of promos, and went to higher positions in Slalom, after a great and v experienced MD went into a leadership role at Slalom in my region.
depends on what for.
stratgy& likely better overall for mgmt consulting
