Hi Friends, I need urgent help. Suppose in experience letter my designation is test specialist but in candidate form of EY I gave senior test specialist. Will it be problem? Actually after getting promotion I thought I became senior test specialist so gave senior test specialist in EY form. As next band is for senior people and I wrote as senior test specialist. But later I saw it was test specialist designation in my current company. Will that create problem in verification?
Anyone else noticing there’s pretty much no Associate Director level jobs available for non-creative roles? I’m trying to leverage a promotion or honestly just leave and there’s like nothing out there from what I’m seeing...
My raise % has historically been good. Company entered into a big lucrative deal in 2021 which brought on more work and with it, promises of more lucrative prospects for everyone. Come performance review time, I’m getting a rave review but was informed that the increase isn’t as big as prior years because HR is limiting the raises and not giving the department as much discretion as it did in the past with nos. Tried to ask for more but not getting to the sweet spot. Time to find a new job?
How much does associate (after promotion from 2yrs analyst) make a year? What department and bank?
Congrats to all the folks that got promoted at PwC! And thank you fishbowl - I wouldn’t have known about PwC promotion time without you.
Vad kan man förvänta sig för lön med 7års erfarenhet inom ledningssystem. Kommer få promotion till Seniorkonsult snart?
Hey fishes, A dilemma regarding charging onetime flight ticket expense in DTE under Hybrid commuting allowance: My Indigo invoice (with GST no.) shows 7k, but I actually had to pay 6k for it (After MMT discount, have receipt of this. Not a GST bill tho). Which amount should I charge? If they dont want bank statement then I can charge 7k, but if they raise any issue I'll land in trouble.
Have a round 2 interview tomorrow that I’m super excited about! Would be a huge raise and I’d get to do challenging/exciting work on a team of insanely smart people. I feel underqualified but this a dream job and I’m hoping I can score points with enthusiasm. Done all the prep and research I can... now we wait 😬
What are your best tips for negotiating your raise? I'm not very assertive as it is and have trouble speaking up for myself - though I'm very outgoing - I just still struggle with owning my value in this department. Any pointers, ladies?
I received an email today from recruiter asking for a phone interview which I’m so happy to hear from but I applied about a month ago. I moved on and applied internally for a different role as a transfer. This new role is a promotion and my start date is next week. I immediately responded back to the recruiter and agreed to the phone interview for tomorrow 5/4…. Do I mention any of the above to them? Do I tell them I just accepted a new role and different position? Please advise
Does pretty much every company require you to fight for raises in order to keep up with market value or are there companies that exist who are good about paying you your worth? If so, which companies are good at this?
Ladies Need career advice . I am an exp senior consultant up for promotion next year . Have been a top performer at Deloitte for past 3 years .however for past couple of months I have been slipping.
Should I negotiate an internal promotion to a different team? I’ve basically accepted but didn’t find out the salary since restructuring had me going to the team anyway but not in a managerial position.
Thoughts on early promotion to manager? I’m a 2nd year senior in Advisory with outstanding performance snapshots with good business cases as directly working with PPMDs and SMs on all projects...
Do people get held back for promotion if their AOS is pending in the middle of promotion time?
I haven’t gotten a promotion since starting the company (Gangnam style, I wanna be a billionaire era). Some of my peers have been promoted to director & vp, others have been downsized since the pandemic. I like my team, but I feel like I’m allowing mgmt to take financial advantage of me. By now, is the only way to get paid my worth to jump ship?
Hi everyone! Do you have any tips on approaching a raise in salary? I’m about to have a talk with my counselor who I don’t talk to often and want to approach the subject. We’ve had pretty big turn...
Moving from nyc to Chicago. Not sure how to deal with salary bc I am being paid right now way higher than chi average but trying to get a solid raise. Would you ask for the same amount?
What are the exit opportunities for an investment bank tech auditor? Need to get out of audit as soon as possible. I really don’t want to get stuck here. Also I’d like to start a family soon so I’m trying to raise my TC significantly (don’t we all) Location: Dallas TC: 75k YOE: 2

My sad consulting life: when your "Flexibility and Predictability" ask of your team is to be offline for two hours for dinner one night per week.
Have a hard time conceptualizing what it means to jump from consulting to industry. Thread for before/after picture of consulting: Role, company, salary, satisfaction, why you jumped, etc. Thanks!

Hey EY and BCG folks - what do you think about our CEOs being official Trump advisors now? I completely dislike that we are normalizing this racist misogynistic muslim-ban person.
What grinds my gears is seeing that lots of places are "actively recruiting" or "urgently hiring" but they won't hire me 😒

Is it possible to complete a certificate program to a MBA degree? I heard Standford has academic certificates that can be transferred but not sure if it's a myth.
PwC wtf is this sharing rooms at PwC University? Why do I work for a Big 4 if we can't even afford to have our rooms at a mandatory training? Anyone that's done PU what's the deal?
