They are all the same company in different color schemes.
All firms are generally the same and your career is impacted 95% by your immediate group ans aupervisors. Never understood the “my firm is best” stuff.
Spot on K4
Forward looking in what regard? Their font looks like it comes from the 90s.
People stay mad about Georgia lol
Watch out for Baker Tilly/Moss Adam’s duo 😎
This sentiment is something Ive never understood. All the comparison of metrics, which firm has better AI, etc etc. It's all noise. I’ll tell you after years in this profession there is one thing that matters and it is your individual experience and career track in a firm. And that is determined by people, not stuff. Over 100 of my classmates graduated and went onto the big firms. I am one of the few that remain. My career at KPMG has been dynamic, flexible, interesting, and most of all, full of the most amazing people. I’ve been in muliple regions and practices, made partner, raised my beautiful family. Yes, it was hard work and there were some times when I was younger it was absolutely brutal (as with any career) but I now enjoy one of the most rewarding, flexible, and well compensated careers of any of my friends and other parents I know, including docs and lawyers. While the mechanics of the profession have changed during that time, this part is exactly the same. Feel free to enter your negative comments here, thats what these forums are used for.
Based on what are you making any of your conclusions? They are all pretty much the same.
Although it seems like an awful place to work.
Seems like a work (very) hard, play (not at all) hard culture. Up or out model.
How is this an incorrect take?
At least EY’ers like to have some fun once in a while.
Agree with this take. The firm used to be fun, it’s become a sweatshop post-Everest.
Other than hyperbole what is wrong with KPMG that isn’t seen in all firms? My department is great and has good leadership. I have no reason to go anywhere. #triggered. 😜
🤡
Theyre literally all 95% the same
Anyone’s experience of a firm is very specific to the geographic office they worked at. You could have two entirely different experiences of the same firm based on the office you worked at, and how the teams and clients are at that office. The KPMG office in Florida I interned at was much different than the NYFS office I work at now.
Haha - I like the enthusiasm MA man, but we got wiffle bats…. PwC EY and Deloitte all lead in different avenues, hard to say one out does the other. 3/4 ain’t bad
KPMG is literally starting its own law firm, granted it’s for very specific legal issues, but it’s the first of the big 4 to do it.
Not the same.
lol who gives a shit what big 4 you work for? The clients are all the largest. The hours all suck at times. The pay is basically the same.
The reality is nobody cares in industry. You either work for big 4 or you don’t.
How do you mean
Who's got some decent use of AI tools?
Idk what everyone else has, but I love our genai stuff
