Rising Star
5-7 were the best years
16 when I got my drivers license
Rising Star
Not 50+ but I was not able to recreate some of the feats from my childhood during my entire adult life
e.g. jumping on the bed for an hour without getting tired,
Playing outside from sunrise to sunset,
Hanging out with 20+ friends at once
And so on!!🤷🏻♂️
I felt that! :,)
22 did not suck. 5 stars would recommend.
I'm 28 and I feel it was some time from 17 to 22
I’m 55+ (eligible for the senior menu at Denny’s) . At about 50 I could feel the start of the decline. Harder to juggle multiple commitments. All your mentors have retired(and many of your friends too). The staff on your team are younger than your children. Time for me to go soon.
On my 4th career… peaked in my 20s, again in my 30s, 40’s, and now 50’s. Also took on a new sport in my 40s and quickly became nationally competitive. Looking forward to the next peak!
There is always a way out. At one career transition I took a lesser role for a lower income to get a Masters (and employer reimbursement), using that as a platform to get into a PhD program. If you hate consulting then find your passion and make a plan…

In terms of? I am in my 30s and probably have already peaked in a couple of aspects. Let’s not get into it though.
Like a fine wine over here. Only getting better.
I wonder how many consultants over 50 are actually even on Fishbowl…
Here is 1. This is my mind numbing distraction from reality
I’m 33. Honesty feels like continually peaking but for different reasons. Early to mid 20s we’re awesome - loved going out and hanging with friends, traveled a ton. Late 20s got married, early 30s have a daughter just born which feels amazing. I don’t hangout with people as much or go out at all but love it for diff reasons.
Define peak
AC first week of Uni
0-3 were pretty good
I’m 41 and felt my peak and working 18 hour days was 25-30 years old. I grew in my career in my 30s but did it mainly by working 40 hours a week and work life balance with family. Not able to do more than 10-12 hour days any more.
