I'll be joining tw as UI Lead, soon.
I'm a javascript/react developer since inception of my career & haven't worked much on CICD/JENKINS and similar technology.
Should I be worried that as a lead I don't know these and will it affect by job security?
Ps- I'm good at UI,js, react etc.

I'm convinced your book doesn't matter all that much in this market, you just need a personal connection and sufficient proof of work
It depends on where you’re applying. Some companies like Adobe, Nvidia etc. will value seeing the creative work in your portfolio more than say an insurance company. As someone who moved into the corporate world from design agencies, I have found there are trade offs like not having the variety of clients, but on the flip side, my team and I are expected to be able to work on a wider range of work like brand development, web, print ads, events, video production, social media and collateral design. When hiring, I will look closely through a submitted portfolio, but just as importantly I’m looking for someone who can work well in a team environment where you’re essentially in a small agency and your co-workers are also your clients.
