Look him up on court dockets. ID here too. Was getting ghosted by a client recently in an auto case so I zoomed into his remote support enforcement hearing, he saw me and called me back right after.
Omg you zoomed in I love it. How was his face
Retain a private investigator to track him down with a full background check, knocking on doors, reaching out to relatives, etc.
Thank you!

If you hired a PI with no luck and spoke with your adjuster on it, ultimately you could have an in-camera with the Judge, explain the situation, and have the Judge impose an Order with a hard EBT deadline. In the Order, there can be preclusion language or something like that that comes into play if the client doesn’t cooperate. I also recommend having a copy of the Order with a letter personally served on your client
No way. You must protect his interest. Get permission to withdraw as counsel without revealing the specifics on the record. Talk to your ethics lawyer
Is your adjuster aware? I’d start there
Thanks for mentioning that. Noted.
As a Plaintiff’s attorney, it hurts to say this, but . . . Exercise your Right of Reversion. I am, of course, assuming Texas is as, if not more, insurance friendly as Georgia
If the adjuster is aware, and okays it, you can tell them that failure to cooperate could lead to the carrier pulling coverage. The policy, as a contract, states that the insured must cooperate with the defense of the case as part of the carrier's infemnification. But I'd be careful there.
One time though, a Judge sent the County Sheriff out to collect my client and he testified in Court with the Deputy Sheriff next to him!
