Just joined S&C from 8 YOE in industry. Joined as M1, but was also a manager in former industry role. How soon is reasonable to be thinking about promotion Senior Manager? What kind of salary increase comes with this promotion?

Also, I negotiated current salary when the offer came 5 months ago now, not taking into account high increases in inflation. Do salaries get adjusted for inflation? And if so, when?

A report opened to me that they are having money problems and wants a raise. We are remote and they moved to a high CoL city. We gave an increase to help with retention 6mths ago. In my response, I helped mentor with best practices on how to ask for a raise professionally since I need to make a case to my Head on finances. But their performance has been avg and not seemingly worthy of another large raise within a short period of time. But how do I respond when they talk about personal finances?

Need help, I have relevant experience and good reputation among team. I want promotion in this cycle to manager level but the thing is the seniors I have, managers and senior managers are with PwC SDC for long time, so they are not ready to promote me with 4.5 years of experience. Joined Ericsson a year ago. Learned new things but not enough. Thinking of leaving it and join some other org. What do you think? I wanted some on-site opportunities but so far nothing.
I know the raise will be in between 5-10%. But the part I missed the most is learning. I can use their portal but that is all theory and can’t do much if they don’t provide the time for it .

Hii Sharks, I am currently with 12 L fixed and due for promotion within 6 months then my fixed might go with around 15.5 L with extra variable pay in PwC only. In pwc WFH option is there.

Now I got offer from KPMG where there are giving 16 L fix + 1 L JB. Also HR gave one day more to discuss. In KPMG need to go office at Bangalore.

Now is it worth to switch KPMG with that package by considering WOO, tax 30% effect ?

What amount I can tell KPMG to make my switch from PWC ?
