Hi Fishies, I am currently a developer working with sql & Vb6 , I was in support for 3 years(total YOE- 4.10 Yrs). Now am planning to move to cloud (AWS Devops). My question is how do I make this transition and I am hell bent on switching as I am literally making peanuts (4.98L/Yr). Every where I see in the job openings atleast 2 YOE in cloud looks to be a min requirement. so how do I make the jump and what package do you think I can expect ? Would appreciate any suggestions.

been in industry (small companies) for 5 years with an active CPA. Wanted to get in SEC reporting roles but almost every company requires 2-year public accounting exp. Now applying for public accounting firms entry level positions but almost all firms HR asked if I had ever worked in firms. Got rejection emails from firms all the time. Is this a dead lock? firms exp matters much more than a CPA license?

If I am searching for an external audit position as a senior associate in public accounting particularly in the healthcare industry what is a competitive wage? Currently I am 1 year in as a senior associate at a top 5 firm and making less than 80k. I do not have my CPA yet but working at it. I have 3 exams left to pass.
