Random question: has anyone ever used Spirulina powder? Does it work? What benefits do you see if any?

I have used it. I'm not a huge fan of the taste. It's rich in a lot of vitamins and controls blood sugar levels. It did make me less hungry.

I want to use it to lose weight and improve my immune system

I tried it before but it upset my stomach a little. I am diabetic, under control without insulin, and I have been considering trying this again to supplement my prescriptions. My doctor says it can be beneficial, sees no harm in adding the supplement to my diet, but recommends watching for unpleasant side effects such as occurred before.

Yeah the reviews say to use less than the recommended teaspoon because a little goes a long way

I use green Spirulina powder but I wouldn't be able to tell you what it actually does in a visible sense for me. I just take it because I know it's supposed to be good for my body, but do I feel the difference? No idea. I recently tried blue Spirulina at a juice cafe and that tastes exactly the same. Rich vitamin B and K as well as antioxidants, allergy relief, boost immune system, and helps detox the body from heavy metals.

That’s good to know. I’m trying to lose weight and boost my immune system

By "does it work", what are you looking for? Spirulina has a lot of benefits like complete amino acids, energy boosting, cleansing the blood, detoxing your body of heavy metals., helping to manage blood sugar and blood pressure. It's hard to say if it's working unless you are actually measuring those thing on a regular. I did not have high blood pressure or anything when I was taking it but I did notice clearer skin and a little more energy.

I want to improve my health, lose weight, and improve my immune system in general

In my organization, most with my role are commission based. I make a set salary due to the firm I work for as an account manager/ coordinator for clients… I coordinate their enrollments, working with each groups HR department as to benefits and payroll purposes, and schedule our benefit counselors accordingly. I am finding that in most cases where I compare the voluntary benefits industry, I might be underpaid. What is an appropriate base salary for a position in which commission is replaced?

I’ve had a bad case of work anxiety ever since I started a new job ~7 months ago. The adjustment was ROUGH. I was making mistake after mistake. I powered through and somehow got glowing reviews at year end, with people saying I’ve moved past that point.

I’m convinced I’ve only tricked people and sooner or later they’re gonna catch on. I have extremely bad Sunday scaries, I’m always fighting down my anxiety whenever a new ask comes through. I don’t know what to do.

Hypothetically, if BBB was delayed and brought to the Senate floor next year (let's say February 2022) and passed, and the January 1st date for ending Roth conversions is left unchanged, what would happen to Americans who performed After-Tax 401k to Roth conversions in January? Would 401k custodians have to reverse the transactions and somehow factor in gains earned in users' Roth accounts since the conversion? Could there be penalties?

My company is actually pretty damn great to work for. So many love it, but our pay is low compared to the rest of the financial sector, and so when people with great experience come knocking, HR denies them because the ask is outside the price range. So mangy managers are pushing back but damn. Why shoot yourself in the foot like that?

My uncle does this (he’s a realtor) and usually gets 2-3x return. Obviously there is huge risk because property prices can change a lot in 1-2 years, but at the same time the upside is hard to ignore.

Anyway I protect myself against the downside risk? (other than loosing my down payment)

Hi fishes,

This annual appraisal I have got a good % of appraisal increment on my salary but I was not promoted to a senior developer (although I have been mentoring a junior dev in my team and been part of building the project by implementing new technologies and tweaks) and my total YoE is 3.5+ years. What could be the reasons? What should I do now?

Thanks in advance!!
