Rank or provide insight regarding legit DEI efforts (number of attorneys, retention, reputation) of Texas middle market firms- i.e. Munsch, Winstead, G Reed, Chamberlain, McDowell, Husch, Bradley, Porter, Boyar, Cokinos, A Myers, J Walker etc.. Which of said firms are still “good ol boy” firms? Firms advertise their DEI efforts to attracts clients- but it’s usually for show. A review of attorney bios for many said firms shows little diversity- despite Texas being among the most diverse states.

When I spoke with HR she said that their was some confusion and with name and they have send wrong offer letter but except my CTC and joining date everything was same my email id, my home address everything. And now I have been asked to wait, HR says they will raise again. And its been 3 days now I can not accept the previous offer also and I cant even resign from my current company. What should I do?

I’m a non-TX immigration attorney mentoring a UT student who went to my undergrad. He’s done incredibly well in OCI and pre-OCI. Do most firms start reporting years in September or January? Prior firm did an August year for counting hours and then another did January (both Amlaw 200). Looking at an Amlaw 100 to lateral in the fall (so trying to anticipate how much of the year I’ll have). I’ll ask what bonus/reporting year but just curious if most follow the same.
