Unless they have you in a contract I find it difficult for any company to be able to enforce this. At will states employers can’t really make this a thing, expecting this from employees is one thing but actually making it happen is another
To my understanding it WAS in the contract but the employee didn't realize it until they did 😅 I've heard of 2-3 months being a norm for some senior positions, also wonder how many others miss this part of their contract agreements..
There's no way that this can be a thing, 6 month notice periods are crazy unless you're at super senior position...3 months is pretty standard in the UK, but 6 months just seems effective
Thats a real thing? I have never heard of a policy like that. I would think with a policy like that they would have a really hard time filling open roles. I certainly wouldn't want to have to do that.
Yeah I think it’s 6 weeks not months
