It’s less about getting the baby through sleep regression and more about getting yourself through sleep regression. Babies do what they want. It’s parents that have to figure out how to not go crazy.
I hear ya. I hate to say it but it just depends. Also, depending on age it could be teething. Our philosophy when that started was 3 strikes and your out. Meaning kid gets Tylenol or ibuprofen. I always did the overnight stuff because I fall back to sleep easier and anywhere (read rocking chair). It’s gets easier you and your wife/so will figure it out.
The good thing is that they will get through it on their own.. but that length of time is different for every baby.
He’s probably hungry. I had my son sleeping through the night at 5 months and then he started waking up. Out pediatrician said to feed him it last a short period of time
SM1 we were going to do that but were worried that he would then expect that food overnight and we shouldn’t get him used to eating at that point
Try to dream feed him before he wakes up
Couple things to check/try:
-Room temp (too cold? too hot? I use SensorPush to monitor)
-Try ibuprofen for at least three consecutive nights. Could be teething, which hurts more when babies lie down.
