Salesforce friends, managed to get a referral for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud role with neither Salesforce nor marketing experience (had been doing healthcare tech transformation projects). What's the best way to prioritize next steps? E.g. Try to creatively (but honestly) emphasize résumé first to finish application submission, then learn marketing basics (on YouTube?), then do some Salesforce Trailheads (which ones?)....or some other optimal order of operations?

So had my first interview in one of the big 4 but it got me completely off guard. First one was call screening and then a technical interview. Now what I didn’t expect is rather than technicalities they focused on the consulting a lot more. Now the role that was marketed was technical/Architect and they even said that in current capacity you’ll work here as a technical person. I don’t think it went well. Coming from a technical background I was hoping for coding .

I have an interview for an in house position (only attorney) at a small non-profit focused on conservation easements. I am a transactional associate at a mid sized law firm. The prospect of freedom from the billable hour and contributing to meaningful work are the draws. The cons are that while the salary at the non-profit would only be slightly less than what I am making now, pay increases and opportunities for advancement will be much less than where I am now.
