Hello! I recently applied for a Travel Procurement Senior Manager role at PwC (role is in NYC and I’m not NYC-based but I believe certain roles can be primarily remote). I have 5+ years of experience in this field and the description/company culture seem like a perfect match to what I’m looking for. Are there any fish from PwC and/or their talent acquisition team that can provide a reference post-submission and insight on the hiring process? Thanks!!

Seems like a large pay cut in total comp for a C2. Your TC now is probably 200-230 depending on performance and you don’t have to worry about vesting.
It’s fine if you love the company/role and think you’ll excel though. I’ve personally noticed that since the post-MBA comp jumped up in ~2018 at MBB and some T2s, a lot of the industry comp has not caught up. Especially applies to startups and non-FAANG tech.

If you really like to pivot in tech and plan to make a career out of it. Might be worth it if there is strong growth potential and RSUs are appreciating. I'd stick around in consulting for a few more years and look for a better exit.
Is this a bad deal? I’d have thought this was good for a second year
Coach
Likely will be a decent pay cut for a second year post-MBA, especially with trajectory (e.g. should basically be at PL) in mind

Post mba :) .. more like this smiley :(
A startup? What series funding?
Not a startup, it’s publicly listed, fast-growing
Is this Wayfair? If so, I've heard really mixed reviews from friends there, so combined with the mediocre pay, I'd avoid
That said, I have a few friends who do enjoy it, and if it's not Wayfair, also worth considering if you don't see yourself in consulting long-term!

Second the meh reviews for wayfair. I also hear their comp is poor so 200k would be surprising for them
Get out while you can. Take it and run.
