What is the pay bracket for DI AM level (A&A)?
Hi fishes! I had asked for benefits other than CTC which Bank of America provides & now that I've completed 1 month here, here's the list of allowances you'll be getting irrespective of position/band:
1. Sodexo: 1300 p.m./ 15,600 p.a.
2. Transport allowance: 900 one way, 1800 two ways p.m./ 21,600 p.a.
3. Internet: 1500 max p.m. (other than that, one time installation charges)
4. Tuition fee: Any certification related to your field. Like CFA, FRM etc. 3,00,000 p.a.

Sorry, are you saying you support the attempted takeover of one of our branches of government?
I’m asking how people of color are handling this situation where there may be “consequences” as Partner 1 above explained very well. I want attorneys of color to be prepared for these discussions and possible consequences. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of opportunity to “practice” dealing with these types of situations... For me, diversity, inclusion, equity, etc. was so important that I started my own firm instead of waiting for my former firm’s Five Year Strategic Plan to take effect. So, I no longer have to deal with any possible “consequences” of speaking up.
I usually voice my opinion. But one must know that there may be real-world inner-firm consequences for doing so (e.g., colleague that holds a different opinion may childishly choose to not work with you).
Nope, I have zero interest in participating in the performative outrage at my firm. We, people of color, are all too often forced to participate in political/race/inclusion/whatever other bs simply by virtue of being a POC. Firm racism and bigotry is not my issue to solve, so I usually tacitly decline any invitation to participate.
I respect your opinion and thank you for sharing. Often, a POC is singled out to be the spokesperson for all POC, which often isn’t fair, and in some cases, counterproductive for others because not all POC agree on these issues. Further, as you have stated, one may not embrace racism and bigotry as their cause to resolve.
Not yet. We're all still remote. My firm sent out a firm wide email condemning the insurrection.
No discussion as we’re mostly remote with little interaction. I am growing more irritated with their complete silence on it all though. Other than a few pleasantries about schooling my children from home during the pandemic, they’ve said nothing at all about anything that matters. It’s a small firm with 3.5 partners, 2 associates and 5 staff, but still.
