I am an Senior iOS developer. YOE is 8.5. Currently getting 13 LPA. Getting promotion in a month with 25 to 30 percent hike which comes nearly 16.8 LPA. I don’t want things to go “back to normal,” and lately I’ve been reading what feels like a lot of disingenuous arguments for reopening “for people’s mental health.” As someone who was suffering from the way things were before and is now thriving from the slowdown (both in work and personal life), I wish we could all stop pretending like we were living in some mental health utopia before the shut down.

I have been job searching (currently unemployed) for 5 months now and am emotionally drained from doing on average 6-8 interviews a week now. Made it to the final rounds to a couple but ended up getting ghosted after or was not offered the job. Advice on how to stay positive? I’m not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel atm
