Check the overtime laws for your state!!

I just recently worked 58.6 hours in a week, weekly pay, nice OT profit right? Depends on where you live.

In Iowa, there is no Overtime pay mandate, the overtime pay is at the discretion of the business. I received 58.6 hours of base pay for the week.

If the company makes less than $1 million per year or does not engage in intercontinental sales, the company is not required to pay the overtime rate of time and a half, just your base rate.

CohnReznick is looking to add some Managers and Seniors to the Transactions team. You have the ability to work remote 100% of the time with no travel. We have offices in every major city. Very reasonable hours, great offshore team, easy to use databook and report templates, large sign on bonus, very large performance bonuses, and salaries that match the Big 4. DM me for referrals.

We are in counter-trend longs this morning, trying to move up to 3032 HWB for the intermediate HWB short. There is a micro long here at the 3011 level. I would be a buyer of ES between 3007.50 - 3011.00. Anticipating a rally back up to the all the way half back level, 3032 - 3040.50 level. Gap Fill comes into play at the 3007.00 level as well. Short Term - Bullish above 2997.50. Longer Term - Bearish Below 3034.50.

Do you ever get frustrated with the pace of things in CE? I love that the work has a lasting impact, but seeing projects take years to get off the ground is starting to impact my motivation. Any advice?

I’m a designer in the planning/landscape architecture dept. of a CE firm. Extremely frustrated that after 4+ years and multiple asks, I’m not getting the in-field construction experience I’ve asked for. I know that my designs could be better if I could see how things are actually built but I get slapped in the face with “I need you in the office designing/drafting” or “there’s no budget to have you go out” and then sends an intern to inspect instead. I’m 5 yrs out of college. Any advice?

How do I strategically discuss or negotiate remote work abroad in an interview or when verbally handed the offer?
