Seniors are supposed to review. You gotta learn that in consulting management group works for the client. Staff works for management.
Kids these days 🙄
Sorry I got pulled back in to a call and posted too early. My full statement was: it is not normal for a senior to copy paste your work. However, if they ask you to do something and then they review and send it out or ask you to do something with "hey can you write this email for me" etc, that is ok. The point is that they stand up for you at year end and say "yeah they are great and I can trust them to start reaching out to the client directly". The true question is do you trust him to do that for you at year end or not
Are you on a loan staff engagement? Otherwise you're shitting where you eat. But hey, it's your career. Have fun ruining it. I tried to give you advice but you don't seem coachable.
SM did that at Deloitte and got caught by the friggin client the year he was set to make PPD. They still offered him the position but he turned it down.
Yep same thing happened to me at one point, I really don't get it at all
@kpmg that's the bullshit excuse. You sound entitled. Seniors are supposed to do complex meaningful work which is what I am doing instead.
Reviewing work is one thing. It's totally different when they simply copy paste word to word and send it to the client with their name on it. I call bullshit on kpmg
If you want me to say yes when they blatantly copy paste work and send it to the client, then I am sorry. Can't wait to expose their ass
Hmmm interesting post since at times I am the one who creates "complex meaningful work" and staff takes credit for it 🤔
Ugh gtfo and go rant on your own post.
