Settle an argument for me, what is BTA vs BA starting salary? I thought BTAs got paid more starting off the bat

Hi everyone- I am a NE partner at a Work Comp firm. I’m considering moving into a County Council (CC) position. There are a lot of considerations and one being I’ll make a lot more money initially at the CC position, eventually there’s a cap to how much I can make in government work. But I also don’t know the salary potentials at my current firm so maybe 245k (top range of CC position) is about the same as partner + the other benefits(CalPERS Etc) advice on considerations in this decision?

180k base + 40k RSU yearly FAANG offer VS. 220k base MBB offer: which one is considered better purely from a monetary perspective? FAANG has refresher but MBB has higher bonus right?

CCTC 3.5, New offer 6.5 (not my best offer yet)
So I talked to my RM about my compensation, that it's way too low. Even the average fresher salary is higher than mine. And with 3YOE it doesn't do justice. I am barely managing my expenses and getting through the month.

My RM said you're a performer so I can push HR for 5.5. But 6.5 is not possible. I only mentioned 6.5 offer for supporting my statement.

I’m in the process of applying for new jobs and I’m a bit confused as to what to expect for a salary. I work in architecture and am considèrent a recent grad (0-3 years of exp.) but for the past year I have been working as a project manager but not getting project manager pay because I technically don’t have the years of experience for the title.

As I’m applying for new jobs I’m struggling to reconcile the difference between my experience and years post grad.

Any advice?

EY offer letter compensation structure doesn't have any mention of gratuity? But its written below that "beside this you will be eligible for gratuity". Will it be deducted from the given compensation or it will be given in addition to given compensation????

Not a lawyer specific question, but since many of us have crazy student loan debt thought I’d ask here. Why on earth isn’t there a conversation around the predatory interest rates on student loans? I feel like it would be so easy for the federal government to slash those rates, then people would actually pay back their loans, and it would be so much better for so many. When I asked for this to be written in the offer letter, I was told that because it is a “discretionary grant that is not contractual” it would not be in there.
