Has anyone in HR, HR Consulting, and HR Program Management successfully negotiated equity as part of your total rewards package and / or doubled your salary even though it was not initially offered to you? What tips, resources, and strategies helped? For those outside HR, what would help strengthen the case?

(For some reason HR Managers aren’t offered equity at same rate as other functions though the impact to the org is obvious IMO)

Hello Friends,

Just need some advice
Currently I am working as QA in automation, yoe : 5.10, but I feel being in QA field wont take me long in career, after 8-9 years I dont know what else is left to learn in this specific domain. You start shifting towards non technical side and become managers at early stage in your career.

I am looking for domain change and confused between two:
1)Data engineer (azure)
2)Devops

Which career path would be good to be relevant in IT for long technical career?

I feel like the parts of ADHD that don't suck aren't talked about that much (and I need a reminder, desperately). The one thing I like is my ability (when I can get my brain to work) to focus hard and get something done in a short amount of time. If I'm really locked in, I can get a serious amount of work done fast. feel free to add yours (please lmao💀).

Seeking advice from experienced small business owners. I'm thinking about transitioning from a small physical shop (art, jewelry, incense, books) to doing it all online. For anyone who's made the switch or had an online shop for a while, what are the must-do's and the must avoids for switching over? Business is good so not worried about losing patrons, just want to make it as seamless as possible.

Email from leadership last week. We can go back as soon as 7/5 with permission. Had to let our boss know. Phase 1 will begin in July and go through end of Sept, provided schools are re opened. Future phases will be announced at a later date. So, I guess at this point in time, things are still up in the air.
