I’m a fairly new grad. Got licensed in January and started working in February. I moved across the state for this job taking my family with me. Now 4 months in it’s such a toxic environment. Unethical, unhealthy. I’m looking to apply to other places. Do I put this company on my resume to show I’ve been working since I graduated or is it worse to show I want to leave after only 4 months? Also, absolutely cannot have them contact my current job or use them as a reference. Put them or no?

So, portfolios for creatives used to be physical. Then they became websites once the internet was built. What’s the next iteration of portfolios? Will they be metaverse virtual galleries where we can experience each project? Thoughts?

Help! I have had to use sporadic leave time at work, and I have had plenty of leave time to use. I have used it for medical treatment and a lot of appointments because a specialist is concerned I have a rare form of cancer & horrible personal things going on. My boss has had a heavy handed response about missing work and that I was late on two projects and sent a very harsh email shaming me for missing work & how I’m not helping the team. I am shocked given why Ive missed work. What should I do?

Email from leadership last week. We can go back as soon as 7/5 with permission. Had to let our boss know. Phase 1 will begin in July and go through end of Sept, provided schools are re opened. Future phases will be announced at a later date. So, I guess at this point in time, things are still up in the air.

Saw on LinkedIn that Georgia Pacific is letting vaccinated people return too the office now and soon will let all back who want to be - but if you are unvaccinated you must wear a mask and keep certain distance from others. Unsure of all of the details of that.

I was just involved in a Teams meeting where it was announced that leadership is now creating a hybrid model. They clearly stated we will not be returning to the office that we left in 3/2020. This was shocking to me! Earliest back in office now set for Oct. More info to come. I was working from home 2 days a week pre covid, so we'll see what happens. I am in MN.
