I’ve an offer from an established company trying to create a new data science team for their business. I know that I’m going to be one of the individual contributors in the team for the work we’ll be doing.
I’ve been undervalued by last company(10 LPA) and this new company is giving me 14 LPA (in hand). I’m not too happy with the pay. But the opportunity for learning and growth looks good to me. I’ll be a deputy manager after being a SW engg.
Do I still look for better offer?

We have an office manager, who is in charge of greeting clients and anybody who walks through the doors, returning of keys, etc., our office manager wants to work a hybrid schedule and we are not opposed to it as long as we can ensure client satisfaction and that the office is orderly. Has anybody been able to make this work?

Anyone won the battle when being told you have to return to office but you want to stay remote? Not particularly interested in compromising considering I’ve been remote my entire tenure here, but they’re really trying to force it on us. All tips welcome. Can the hybrid model actually work?
People have gotten so used to just backing meetings up into each other. You logout of one and immediately jump in to another. I remember days full of meetings before but not at this volume.
I struggle believing this practice will cease with any percentage of the workforce at home. I don't subscribe to all or nothing but I'm interested in if this has been addressed. Has anyone's hybrid policy mentioned the future of meeting best practice?
