It would be a ~25% pay cut, but I’m burnt out and positive that I don’t ever want to make partner at a consulting firm (the stress, the continual worry of having to sell and then staff projects, the partners I see always being on, etc). I got offer from Deloitte 15LPA fixed + 10% variable bonus(CTC 16.5LPA)+ 4 lacs joining bonus with 18 months bond and additional benefits from Deloitte as Consultant.

Second offer from ITC Infotech of 19LPA fixed + 1 lacs variable for similar role.

Email from leadership last week. We can go back as soon as 7/5 with permission. Had to let our boss know. Phase 1 will begin in July and go through end of Sept, provided schools are re opened. Future phases will be announced at a later date. So, I guess at this point in time, things are still up in the air.

Deloitte is remote until at least Sept 6, you can only access offices earlier with express permission. Some limited travel is occurring to client site prior to then.

I was just involved in a Teams meeting where it was announced that leadership is now creating a hybrid model. They clearly stated we will not be returning to the office that we left in 3/2020. Hi everyone! I’m an EA for a Property Management company, I wanted to get your opinion on a situation. We have an office manager, who is in charge of greeting clients and anybody who walks through the doors, returning of keys, etc., our office manager wants to work a hybrid schedule and we are not opposed to it as long as we can ensure client satisfaction and that the office is orderly. Has anybody been able to make this work?

People have gotten so used to just backing meetings up into each other. You logout of one and immediately jump in to another. I remember days full of meetings before but not at this volume.

I struggle believing this practice will cease with any percentage of the workforce at home. I don't subscribe to all or nothing but I'm interested in if this has been addressed. Has anyone's hybrid policy mentioned the future of meeting best practice?

Anyone won the battle when being told you have to return to office but you want to stay remote?
