Yeah thar sounds practical, but once you are in a full blown busy season it is difficult to find jobs and keep interviewing. I am going to keep trying though

I don’t know. Which do you want to do?

I am more inclined towards a permanent position but the market for experienced associate is not very encouraging. I am considering CLA only because i think it might look good on my resume.
I don’t want to loose out on a good opportunity at the same time

It could turn into permanent?

I am going to ask this question to the recruiter on Tuesday when i have screening call. She has made it clear though that this is a seasonal position

I would take what’s available and keep searching, having a job even seasonal will help you find another.

Yeah that makes sense , thanks for your insight appreciate it!

Even without LinkedIn, I see a lot of people younger than me in much better roles. They started off with relevant jobs right out of college. I graduated in 2009 when the economy tanked and worked in retail for years before I was finally able to land in corporate. Does anybody else struggle with this as well? I’m constantly comparing myself to others who are younger than me.

Working for a senior who is beyond horrible. She talks to you like you’re stupid and makes it sound like you’re absolutely terrible at what you’re doing. She’s made 5 other associates cry during her 5 year career. Got someone fired and made another person quit. It’s known around the office that she can no longer have a female associate, because she talks down to females more than she does males. I came along and thought I could deal with it but she literally makes me want to not log on tomorrow.
