Give us the name so we can get the whole tea
In all fairness, the laid off associate was pretty positive post layoff.
Not all partners agree with decisions made by the firm to layoff people. If the LinkedIn post showed the former employee moving on to things better for them than their old firm that’s reason to celebrate.
Not sure if that is good or bad
Its eh. The pwc associate had a good attitude about the whole deal, but just weird as hell that the partner used the celebration feature. Kinda tone deaf.
Can’t speak for PWC partner but I know here at RSM when people were laid off the last two times, partners didn’t have a full list of impacts. It’s very need to know. Not saying it doesn’t suck for that person, but maybe give a little grace. Partners (most anyway) hate that layoffs are happening
Perhaps the partner was wishing them the best and congratulating them on escaping the madness.
Classy as usual.
We need the name
