My company is giving me a reimbursement while I go to school. It’s capped to induce me to study part time. I decided to go full time. Pay the difference out of pocket so I can graduate quicker. I have been working as a manufacturing engineer tech for 4 years without a degree but this May I will get my bachelors in Mechanical Eng. Currently making 63k a year, hourly. I find it insane that recruiters have been calling me on Teams. How is that ok and not seen as disruptive?

It’s hard to be motivated when rounds of layoffs happen and you see all your friends leave. But one thing that’s gotten me through all of this is working out. And when I say workout I mean the most pathetic, sad, barely completed beginner-level cardio dance routines. I’ve somehow forced myself to move while on lockdown and it’s somehow forced me to feel better. Whatever you’re doing, wherever you are: get up and move even if you don’t finish or end up going on a walk. Pls take care of yourself❤️

I get that over-use of friendliness in text can come off as green/immature, but I tend to try and cushion my words with positivity or even exclamation marks/the occasional emoji to show that I don't sound completely unemotional.
