Best SPG or Marriott in San Francisco?
Hi ,I have been interviewed and selected in S&P Global .salary almost negotiated and waiting for the offer letter to release. But seems like they are not willing to release the offer because of my 90 np . They are asking to join by 60 days but initially I told them my NP is 90. Even I am ready to take the 60 days offer but now they are not releasing offer as they want assurance. Now they are not picking calls.seems like i will loose the offer. Is there anything can be done.

Why don’t you say you have a medical appointment that you cannot miss? No one is going to ask you follow up questions about that. You should tell the firm recruiter the issue and schedule the interviews as early as possible in the morning to get it out of the way. Note that the interview may be longer than 2 hours - I’ve had plenty of interviewers who love to hear themselves talk.
Thanks! This is helpful. It’s already scheduled with the new firm (was done last week). I did not think this deal is still a thing at this point.

I just dealt with similar and warned the new firm that I might have to reschedule on a moments notice. They were very understanding.
I've had to reschedule callbacks a few times (with different firms) during fire drills or closings and it has never been an issue at all, although my recruiter got a little annoyed.
I agree with saying medical appointment as an explanation (and have recently used it myself). For what it is worth, there will NEVER be a good time for multi-hour interview blocks. Something will inevitably always come up in this job. Which is a long way of saying, don't cancel unless you absolutely have to (i.e. you are personally needed for closing tasks and there's no way the other team members on the deal can cover for you).
Just to report back - ended up sticking with the scheduled interviews and glad I did! Closing got pushed to the day after the interviews.
Depends on the closing. You never know what might happen. I would avoid to the extent possible
As an interviewer I’ve had callbacks rescheduled last minute due to closings. It’s NBD

I’ve had people cancel interviews due to closing with no issue!
