Since my Amex platinum is my only card and has no set limit, my access to credit is very low from a credit score perspective. Should I get another card to show lower utilization if I want to improve my credit score?

Yes. Also if you’ve had the car for awhile and or have had any increases in income, you can ask for an increase in credit

Gold is a charge card too which is what I have. I think the maximum amount allowed for one purchase is used as a substitute for typical credit limit but I could be wrong. They email me when they automatically increase my max single purchase limit

Having an issue with direct 401k rollover. I had an after tax portion with old plan and my new 401k plan now does not accept after tax rollovers. Can I endorse to another bank even though I’m only FBO on the check?

Personally, I don’t want companies to moderate for me or on behalf of me. I will make my own decisions as a citizen.

How concerned are you about inflation? We have 70% savings rate and 50% of our expenses are housing / utilities of which the largest part is rent which is a fixed contract (no CPI escalation, no automatic increases, paying same rent for 4 years). No car as we are living in a large city. So if I look at the components of CPI and what’s rising I am feeling pretty „good“ about it. The one thing I am „worried“ is asset inflation but obviously that benefits me directly. What am I missing?
