So after 9-10 weeks in total interviewing for a role at a global brand consultancy, I was informed at the final stage that they’d opted for another candidate who had more UX/UI experience. A week later I saw a job posting for that position specifically for digital. Confused - I sent them an email showing interest in the role since they’d expressed interest in keeping me in case. Is there something more I can do? Was this a mistake to reach out? 😥

Hey folks, need some help. I cleared all my interview rounds and had completed the documentation too. However for more than two weeks the status on the portal is "offer initiated". The HR says the delay is happening because the people who need to approve are on leave. Are they playing around or keeping on hold? Do they actually release offer after this much delay?
