Anyone know the raise amounts for BCG yet?
Hello Gang, I’m on the business side for Walmart right now. Walmart Global Tech recently offered me a role to move to the San Bruno office, but I’d be taking a demotion from L6 to E5. YOE: 8, COMP(200k base, 25% bonus, 100k RSU). Is this competitive in the bay? I have Doordash and Instacart in the pipeline, but no final offers yet.

Looking at roles on Stripe’s financial crime team.- I’ve seen mixed reviews about the company on here. I’m relatively new to the industry and willing to compromise a bit on WLB especially since the role aligns really well with a lot of my experience and interests . Does anyone have insight into the financial crime team culture there?

First - you'll have to bring it up to your boss who is doing your review. Every place I've been at, your raise is based on your performance review and a "generous" raise that is non-promotion based is 5%.
Second - when you bring it up to your boss at review time, be sure to provide concrete examples on why you deserve it, but you can't say "You're paying other people X" because it comes off as gossipy and whiny.
Third - All else fails - look for a new job. I've only gotten raises from leaving jobs.
Bring it up before review time so they can incorporate your thoughts into the review.
This - before review is when action can be taken
Be balanced - say you like the job but want to be fairly treated. It’s not an immediate threat but clearly over time if you are not in line it’s a problem so you are looking forward to review time to see what happens and how your view of your performance and the firms align
