Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)
(sap domain)
How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Was wondering what sort of life sciences projects does usually the Boston Consulting Group and McKinsey & Company take on?

I’ve just accepted an offer in the US, and while going through the process, (as a Brit), I was routinely reminded that if I were to get an offer it would be only for the US and not transferable to any other country

First - Congrats!! Welcome to the land of supersized meals!! I'm sure you'll love it
2nd - Thanks for sharing your experience. Seems like I might have to either decline or try to convince my wife (which is probably 10x more difficult than a McKinsey interview)
3rd - I heard changing offices after a year or two in isn't that bad so maybe that's a possibility!
Minimal. If you’re hired into a specific office you will be expected to start there. If you want to join a US office you should ask the recruiter now and that office will have to decide whether they want to interview you or not.
Once you’re at the firm for a while you can ask to transfer offices. To do so you need to have a proper reason why, e.g., your significant other is in that city, you do a lot of work for a client in that city and local leadership supports the move, etc.

Makes sense - Thanks for the insight!
