If a client is close enough to me, I'll go in for meetings or video shoots. Otherwise, I'm upfront about not being able to come in unless they want to pay travel expenses.
People like to think in binaries: remote is fully done or remote is the thing. I think the truth is something in between: a lot of traditional companies are going to have their corporate RTO mandates but a lot of companies - agencies especially- are going to see that as an opportunity to leverage more talented folks by not being limited to one location

Lots are remote only until you get converted. I say don’t get too comfortable. Or they’ll use the remote worker while hiring someone else for permanent with hybrid in the job description. Or onsite. Companies will still get over 100 resumes on an onsite role M-F.

Everyone is pretty much remote. I haven’t heard of anyone going in. If you don’t like the client, change the client or negotiate.
