I’m shocked that libs continue refuse to acknowledge all of the things they’ve done to make it more difficult on law enforcement while enabling crime across the board with the those who commit crimes are victims of the system narrative.
💯 agree budgets are bloated and there are plenty of bad apples out there that shouldn’t be cops and that needs to be fixed but the response from the far left is gross. It’s almost like the liberals value the feelings of criminals over the safety of law abiding citizens and law enforcement officers who the vast majority of want to help others.

Don’t worry guys if the R wins you can finally have safe streets in Portland again. I know that’s hard to imagine because you’re so used to destruction but it’s coming.
Lmao. Can't wait to see what it is they do

I dont think this should say anything in regards to the rest of the country. At best a split democrat electorate speaks to people not satisfied with democrats but not enough to vote conservative.

How do you get a trend from a point? Don't you need at least three? (any two dots can be connected and don't begin to describe a trend)

spoiler ex-Democratic state senator now running as a third party candidate is siphoning votes away from Democrats. 🤷♂️
Doesn't mean much beyond Oregonians might play themselves.
A) candidates for city commissioner in Portland don’t declare a party affiliation; B) if you bother to look at his website Gonzalez states prominently that he is a “life long democrat.” Sure, he’s more centrist than Hardesty, but his positions align with mainstream democrats. Also, Johnson like most third party candidates is probably over polling right now, and will likely bleed support to Kotek.
Oregon isn’t deep blue. They even had 1 R senator through 2008. That’s not so bad for a state that was famously “whites only” until the 1920s and refused to ratify the 15th. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/retropolis/wp/2017/06/07/when-portland-banned-blacks-oregons-shameful-history-as-an-all-white-state/
Lololol… one senator in 2008. I’d call that deep blue bud.
