So my ISD split me between a HS and a MS that recently reopened. I'm the only MS band director. The MS decided, without consulting me, to use the band hall as a classroom and after school enrichment "daycare". AKA added desks and tables. How do I approach this? I feel it is not OK in the slightest. I feel the band hall should reflect the goals, discipline, and culture of the program. Not as an empty classroom.

Been with Big Four advisory (GRC) for 10 years. Really tired of meaningless “consulting” and commoditized implementations. Recently been through a rough job search and finally landed an offer with a mid size bank in their risk practice. People say that the culture there is quite political and bitter but I’ll learn a heck lot and get a new opening on my resume. Salary is the same. Band teachers... how do your virtual band classes work? I’ve been doing music theory with students via google classroom and kids constantly ask to play instruments. It seems like a nightmare to have 30 kids with instruments online because of the delay in sound. Help plzzzz
