Mom of two here (21 month old and 5 month old) who is starting to consider having a third. I am in my late 30’s and my doctor just recommended I start trying at 6 months postpartum. I am thinking I want to start closer to 8-10 months postpartum but have no idea what to expect with a third. Is anyone in a similar situation? Moms or Dads of two, do you ever look back and wish you had tried for three? Moms or Dads of three, how was the transition from two to three and how much did life change?

How do you all keep up with trends in risk and internal audit?

Been a coach at the collegiate level for 6 years. Make a $65k salary. Want to leave coaching and break into sales/marketing/recruiting/consulting. I have ample leadership and recruiting experience with a strong work ethic.

Anyone have any good advice for getting students to think/respond on their own? So many times when I ask them to write their own thoughts about something and to explain why they hold that opinion, many students get stuck and/or turn to the Internet. I got an email last night from a 7th-grade parent because her son said I mentioned the words "male privilege" in class, and she is very concerned about how that is related to ELA (she said "reading"), and she is concerned about this being taught in public schools. To be clear, I didn't do a lesson on this subject but we did discuss rights versus privileges. I've had multiple parents contact the school/get upset with me because of things like his. My district is thinking about purchasing HMH into Literature for our reading and writing curriculum. We currently use Lucy Calkins Reading and Writing Workshop and are not happy with it. Does anyone have experience with HMH? Pros? Cons? Any info is appreciated! Thank you!
