Does anyone use Power BI in their analytics?
Hi All,
I have joined cognizant yesterday. I came to know that office location is bantala in Kolkata. I do not want to work in bantala location. I have talked with my recruiter. But hs said offer location is decided on project allocation. How can I change the location to other location? If I leave the job will it be any problem?

If you double my salary, you’ll get more people to do my job, sure, but it’s harder than scooping ice cream. Takes more experience, more knowledge.
But this is excellent in showing that your econ class was real stuff. Pay more and you get more people to apply for a job. Not rocket science.
Almost like those Bloomberg news alerts that are common sense. Great to see they’re fully staffed and employees are getting a decent summer wage for the work.

Imagine that. When you pay people enough to actually make the job worthwhile, they will apply and show up for interviews.
yeah the point is that its sad that b4 need this lesson as they are currently complaining about a talent shortage in our staffing meetings but won't raise comp.
It’s almost like people are motivated by money. Weird.

“I’m pro-capitalism!”
“No, not like that!”
This is what Partners imagine when they ask the team to post job openings on LinkedIn. “It was instant, overnight. We got thousands of applications that poured in.”
There are only three ways to motivate people: money, fear, and hunger.

You are a scholar, Ron.
From my experience, Talent Leadership doesn’t appreciate talent. In their own bubble. #draintheswamp

Cause money is the only issue driving the talent shortage right ?
I mean idk where you live but I am certainly not making $30k more than industry staff. They are +/- 5% from where I am as an A3. Those random clients are the same ones sending me LinkedIn messages about a job with 40% more money
Never been to Klavon’s. I usually just stick to Primanti Bros. when I’m in the Strip District. I’ll check them out the next time I’m home.
The difference is PA doesn’t actually care about the shortage because it’s more profitable to have less salaried people working way more hours.
I can't imagine EY leadership loves paying all these contractors we've brought in 2 or 3 times what a normal employee would earn
If everyone pays $15, theyll stop showing up and the cycle restarts.
This actually sounds exactly like PA. Pay the NEW people a bunch and tell the loyal people we will catch them up over the next year or two. 🙄

Yep, exactly that. There aren’t really that many truly low performers
