Soon to be a family of 3 and want to move from Las Vegas to a different place to settle down. Work is either travel or from home so can practically move anywhere in US. What places would you’ll recommend that does not get very hot in summers or very cold in winters and has some desi population.

Dad passed away 2 months ago. I traveled to India and stayed for 2 months, dealt with significant red tape to close his cards, loans, transfer pensions, etc. A succession certificate is WIP for one of his accounts, so mom decided to stay back until it’s done.
