Started a new job three months ago and have liked it so far, it’s not in an industry that I am passionate about but the pay is good, great WLB and the team has been fantastic.

I have an offer to switch to an industry I love and am passionate about for a slight pay increase (10%) and a title bump. WLB will probably be a little worse, but I see myself being more motivated to pursue a long time career there.

Don’t know what to do. Anyone has any advice?

3 months is short enough where you could just omit from your resume. Would be a harder story to tell down the line if you only stayed for a year and jumped ship.

Do it for the career goals not the 10% raise but make sure you understand wlb implications

I wouldn't underestimate the value of having a great team you like!

I've tried getting a +50% bump to join a new company, only to find it had terrible culture and those I had to work with daily really sucked (and got fired after I left).

Was the most money I had made at the time, but also the most shitty I've felt. Simply isn't worth it.

Hi All,

I have 4 yrs of exp as full stack developer and my current CTC is 15 lpa and notice period is of 3 months. I got an offer from another firm for 24lpa but they have shared the offer letter of DOJ after 2 months and asked me to negotiate my notice period or look for buyout. What should I do in this case? Should I connect with my current hr to negotiate? Cause I tried convincing the new hr to share the offer letter of DOJ after 3 months but she is not in the favour of that.

Help. I’m struggling to find a job that’s $120k and up. I keep getting recruiters reach out on LinkedIn but for half of the salary. Im in the oil and gas, currently working for Philips 66.

Any idea on maybe what positions I should be looking for within this range?

I have 15 years of supply chain experience, transportation and freight forwarding. I also have an MBA. Would like a hybrid, or remote but open to anything.

Does anyone have suggestions for what a salary should be for a Digital Marketing Analyst | Paid Social & Performance Media? I have 1 year of experience, the job asks for 0-1 year of experience. What are your thoughts on what the salary should be?
