It's always been a dream of mine to work at Google, specifically as a UX designer (currently transitioning into UX from visual design). I've been so afraid to apply to any jobs with UX title, Google or not, because I'm always doubting myself and telling myself I'm still under-qualified.
UX designers & hiring managers, what are the skills a designer must have to be "qualified" for a UX position? Keywords on resume? Certifications? Thank you all in advance!
Hi Fishes, I got a call from Infosys HR stating that I'm selected and I would receive offer in 10 days. It's been around 12 days now, yet to receive the offer. HR's not picking the calls too. Any ideas, has anyone undergone the same situation. Please help. Infosys Infosys Limited Infosys Consulting

What their team most recently shipped that they were proud of
engineering processes, tech debt, quality of work. I've been burned by not doing enough due diligence about the engineering team and eng leadership before.
“What is the biggest challenge that this team currently faces?”
It does multiple things:
1) Shows whether they’re transparent and self-aware about their problems
2) Tells you what issues you’ll likely be dealing with ahead of time and whether you’re okay with that
3) Gives you a good impression of how the interviewer may deal with tough situations (esp. if that person will possibly be your manager)
As someone who’s performed multiple interviews, I love when people ask me this question bc it allows me to be fully transparent and weed out any wishy-washy candidates. And I can’t tell you how cringey some questions are where it feels like the interviewee is reading from a script.
And as the interviewee myself, I usually pass on jobs where the hiring manager gives me a a non-answer or bullshit answer (e.g., everything is great here, our current problems are all common in this industry, we’re just growing too quickly bc the company is doing so well, etc.)
